a perfect fit

While flipping through an old issue of Selvedge recently I found this paper cut between the pages. I believe it was included in a holiday issue a few years ago. I placed it on my dresser and it has sat there for a month or so. I had thought to myself that I really should frame it. Then I kind of just forgot about it.

Then last week I popped into the reuse centre and picked up a few old frames. I am really enjoying this old round style lately. I found a circle one and two ovals. At the time I didn't know what I would put in them, until of course a couple days later when I spotted the paper cut out on my dresser. A circle frame for the circle image. A perfect fit.

In the old frame and behind the glass the paper almost looks like lace.

That is so sweet! I love round frames too, or any interesting shape really, they make whatever is in them really feel special.

Have not read your posts in a few weeks - so excited to see these this morning.

I love your posts on the winter trails - it's so inspirational!
Luke and I are taking Spruce to the beach today - it's true that dogs are the happiest on their own exploration!
