salendro bird hooks

I ordered these bird hooks from Salendro last week and they greeted me at my doorstep this morning. I needed some hooks at the studio for my coat and Beau's leash and I have been eyeing these up for a while. Plus, this independent designer is based in Montreal and uses all local materials.
Not only are the hooks really nice in person, but the packaging they came in is really smart too. The birds were tied to a strip of recycled cardboard, which was then wrapped around and secured using one of the four screws and anchors that came with it. The other three were attached to the other flap as shown above. So smart and lovely.
