I organized the house and worked in the garden this long weekend. That may not sound very exciting but to me this was a very rewarding way to spend this weekend. I also finished sewing this high waisted skirt I designed back in the spring when I was excited about the warm weather and the possibility of wearing skirts and dresses. I put off sewing it until recently when I was trying to think of uses for some left over bolts of fabric I wanted to use up. The weight of this cotton is perfect for fall. I also have it in black and brown and I may make one out of each of them too.
