I wasn't able to find my sketchbook anywhere for the past two months. I was really bummed about it and didn't want to believe it was gone so I didn't replace it with a new one, hoping it would turn up. The other day I finally decided just to get a new one. I got the cutest little sketchbook that's only 5 inches square with rounded corners, off white heavy pages, an elastic closure and an orange page marker. Would you believe that the day I finally got a new one I actually found my old one that exact night without even looking for it! of course. I couldn't resist the cuteness of the new book though so decided to do some pen and ink drawings in it even though I had found my old one. When I do drawings in a sketchbook with pen, which means no erasing, there's definitely a looseness to them that you won't see in my screen printed drawings. There's also a major lack of proper perspective, which I personally think gives the objects some personality. And so my new sketchbook has become my little book of funny little drawings of random objects.
