Spring weather always gets me excited for outdoor markets. The Aberfoyle Flea Market opens next weekend and I am hoping to go soon to take some reference photos for a new design I have had lingering in my head. Then I remembered the other day that I had a file of photos on my computer from my visit to Rideau Antiques two summers ago. It's a country home near Perth Ontario that is filled from floor to ceiling in every single room with stuff. Some really good stuff too. The yard and barns are even filled with stuff. My favorite thing about this place was that everything similar was grouped together. A room filled with lamps, a barn filled with chairs, stacked old doors, stacked old magazines.
